School/LEA Testimonials

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your team for the work you have done with **** over this last year. There is no doubt his self-esteem has been greatly enhanced and it is to your credit that **** is applying for college for Year 12 and has a positive view of his future. While at YDC, he gained greater insight into his behavioural difficulties and is now able to control his temper. He has also benefited from the individual tutoring you have been able to offer him in the core subjects and I am particularly grateful with the manner in which you liased with the school over ****'s GCSE courses and examinations."

"[YDC] has enabled **** to develop insight into her behaviour and what she wants to achieve in the future. I am confident that **** will go on to achieve success at **** College."

"YDC have worked patiently with **** and have continued to encourage him and advocate for extra service provisions of a one-to-one tutor to help him gain the educational skills that he needs in order to attain his GCSE's."

"I write to confirm that **** is now attending **** School on a full-time basis. She is well-integrated in her class, and has made good social relationships with her classmates ? She is working well and I have high hopes that she will do next year, her final year at school. Her participation in YDC, and the ongoing mentoring support she received there, I am sure, played a significant role in enabling her to re-engage with full-time school."

"**** is a complex young person and has a history of not engaging. Since he has attended YDC he has made progress and is continuing to respond well."
